The Draugr
Another project I got to work on at Hirez was the Draugr.
It was based off an ancient Norse sea monster legend, and required an order of magnitude more detail than any of my previous projects since it would be a large boss monster that needed to hold up to scrutiny at relatively close range.
I learned a great deal about layering sculpted details, and breaking designs down into large, medium, and small area breakups.
